Day 1

Well we arrived after no delays and a comfortable flight on BA, The bags were waiting for us on the carousel and our car hire company were also great providing us with a huge Chrysler Trailblazer a 4 x 4 good enough for the job in hand. We hooked up the GPS SatNav system and punched in the hotel name and was pleased when we arrived in the car park

some 15 minutes later with no wrong turns. So at the moment we are not going to buy any maps and place all our trust in the SatNav. (Time will tell). The hotel is fine and cheap but not in the best of locations as its not near any shops bars etc. We ate in, and it was fine, after all we were very tired and not looking for a fancy meal. Called it a day at 9:00pm and went to bed. A great first day loads more to come.
